The focus of the property is to provide a place where guests can stay and connect with nature. Consistent with the theme of private relaxation, the operation is entirely staff-less, with amenities prepared and provided pre-arrival.

We Just Need Remote Locks to Work

Luke is a veteran with over 30 years of experience in hotels, covering roles from the kitchen to sales & marketing. For the past decade, he has been a general manager.

In particular, online conversations and surveys allowed Luke to identify demand from a significant number of guests for a specific upsell experience unique to the property: smart telescopes that take advantage of dark skies. Guests are prompted to download the telescope app pre-arrival via Akia. Upsell experiences are already generating >£5k/year in additional revenue for Luke, and he’s just getting started.
